Free for City Bridge Foundation ‘Access to Justice’ grant holders
Free for London Legal Support Trust Centres of Excellence
£50 for other organisations
The Preparing to Manage Programme focuses on the softer skills needed to make a successful transition into management. It explores critical thinking, emotional intelligence, setting clear expectations, engaging and building relationships with team members, and living your values through everyday management practice. It also considers self-awareness and self-care, helping participants develop a thoughtful, authentic and sustainable approach to managing others.
The programme begins with an introductory live workshop, followed by practical online learning materials that participants can work through in their own time, and concludes with a follow-up workshop a couple of months later to reflect on learning, discuss real experiences and build confidence for the next stage of their management journey.
This programme is for people preparing to move into their first management role or who have recently taken on responsibility for a team; particularly aspiring managers, team leaders and new managers.
Cohort 1: 21st October & 23rd November 2026
