Improving Lives Through Advice

The Improving Lives Through Advice programme is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the Access to Justice Foundation.

The Management & Leadership Hub has been commissioned to provide the funded partner support programme (Funder Plus) for the 59 grantees.   The funded partner support is co-created with the grantees and currently includes:

  • General and bespoke management and leadership training and workshops

  • Governance training and support

  • Strategic support

  • Updates and curated resources

  • Coordination of communities of interest

  • Targeted strategic and operational consultancy

We continue to co-creating and iterating the programme with the funded partners.  The goals of the Improving Lives Through Advice programme are to ensure that:

  1. Advice to people from marginalised communities is sustained and improved

  2. More people from marginalised communities are empowered to identify, understand and resolve their legal problems

  3. Organisations have more capacity to engage in influencing, partnerships and fundraising work, which helps them meet the needs of their communities

  4. Organisations are better able to demonstrate the difference they make to people’s lives
